Ms. Reem Sioufi

Reem has been teaching for more than 7 years, both in the United Kingdom and in Qatar, a diverse population of adult students from France, Spain, Egypt, India and Qatar. 

She truly believes that all students are capable of reaching their learning goals. Her aim is to create interactive classes where she helps students acquire language in an engaging and supportive atmosphere. She has experience in teaching General English, IELTS and Business English. She also develops and delivers adapted ESP programs courses such as Summary and Report writing.

She holds a Bachelor in English language and literature from Damascus University, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education+16 from the University of South Wales and a Cambridge CELTA from Swansea University. 

She moved to Qatar from Swansea, the UK, in 2014.

Mr. Francis Higgins

Giving students confidence to feel comfortable communicating in English is Francis's passion. In his class, you will find lots of opportunities to speak in English and have fun learning pronunciation, reading and writing. He will also throw in some grammar for good measure. 

Francis's professional career as a teacher began back in 2006 when he left the UK to start teaching English in South Korea. Upon his return to the UK in 2009, he started teaching in the UK in a secondary school and a further education college. He has also taught in Bangkok before coming to Qatar 7 years ago. 

He holds a master’s degree in International Education and a bachelor’s degree in law from King’s College London and University College London respectively. 

Ms. Amy Redfern-Pattison

Amy's approach to teaching is to create an interactive, practical and memorable learning experience for her students. She has worked in education for more than 5 years both here in Qatar and in her home country, the UK. She is a graduate of English from Goldsmiths College; The University of London and she specialises in English language studies and writing. She supports language learners reach their goals with an open door and no -stress policy. 

Ms. Tamara Susic

Tamara is from Auckland, New Zealand where she graduated from Massey University with a degree in Linguistics and Spanish. Having studied Linguistics, she has in depth knowledge of the science of language learning and acquisition. 

She also attained her English teaching certificates, CELTA (Teaching English Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages as well as DELTA (Higher Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Cambridge English. She has 10 + years' experience in diverse educational settings around the world and she specializes in Teaching Adults, Business English, Cambridge exams such as IELTS, English for Special Purposes as well as online lessons. For the last few years she has also worked as a Teacher Trainer. She has had the chance to teach students of various backgrounds; from Eastern and South-Western Europe, Asia, South America, and now the Middle East and Qatar. She loves learning languages herself, she also speaks Spanish, Serbo-Croatian and her goal now is to learn a little bit of Arabic, so she understands the challenges involved in learning a foreign language. 

She considers herself to be a committed and passionate teacher and her number one goal in lessons is to build a rapport with her students and create a friendly learning environment. Research shows that people learn best when they are relaxed and enjoying themselves, and so she aims to make sure that students feel this way at all times. Her classes are fun and interesting, but focused on your progress. She wants you to learn English that is useful to you for personal or professional purposes.
