Dr. Jian Zhao

Dr. Jian Zhao joined the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at HBKU in the spring of 2014 and currently serves as the CJK coordinator at its Language Centre. He received his Ph.D. in East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto in 1997, specializing in Chinese language and comparative East Asian culture, and has taught Chinese for over thirty years.
