Welcome to the TII Language Center, part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

We offer top-class language training in 12 languages for adults, namely Arabic, English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish in addition to 8 languages for kids and teenagers between the ages of 5 and 15 years, namely Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Turkish, Mandarin Chinese and Portuguese. Our courses can be taken for personal enrichment or professional purposes. With a view to that, we offer a variety of formats and course contents, ranging from basic language instruction to language for professional and special purposes, to language for travel. You can focus on learning all four skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing – or, in some languages you can learn through conversation. In German, you can prepare to take the German language exams necessary for visas or studies at German universities. View our website and, chances are, you will find what you are looking for!

Our instructors are language professionals who are native or near-native speakers who use up-to-date methodologies and modern technologies to fast-track you to your desired goals. Acquiring language in its cultural context is an integral part of our language philosophy.
