Conference Workshops
Our 7th Annual International Translation Conference offers a variety of workshops in the fields of language and translation on the 28th and 29th of March. Please note that the capacity of the Introduction to Professional Translation workshop and The Revision and Quality Assurance in Translation Workshop is 15 attendees, and the capacity of The Teaching of Writing in Arabic workshop is 20 attendees. All workshops will be running over the two days at the same time from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. You are required to attend the 2 days to receive the certificate, and to be able to attend you need to register and pay fees of QAR 1,500. Your payment should be made in advance in TII by credit card, and your registration will not be complete until the payment is fulfilled. Please note that international delegates will fulfill the payment for the workshops by transferring the fees to Qatar Foundation’s bank account. For more information, please email us at: transconf@qf.org.qa . TII staff and students will be granted free access to the workshops, but they have to register for them online. Attendees will be granted their certificates from TII on March 30th and 31st. Payment could be done in LAS Building from Sunday-Thursday from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM at the Department of Professional Services Center.
The deadline to make the payment is February 21st, 2016. If payment was not received by that date, the participant will lose his/her seat. We will maintain a waiting list and will get back to those who are on the list by February 22nd, 2016.
The deadline for the early bird registration is 18th of Feb. Delegates who fulfill their payment before this deadline will pay QR1100 only.
